Student Activities at UMKCUMKC has a diverse campus community with more than 300 student organizations, including Greek fraternities and sororities, leadership and mentoring programs. Your SafetyWe take your safety on our campus very seriously. UMKC has one of the lowest rates of serious crimes of any university in the country. We also have fewer drug and alcohol related crimes than most other colleges and universities. With a campus police department that is staffed 24 hours a day, 98 emergency telephones located across campus and a Safe Walk program, your safety is a priority. |

Diane Winnard I really like UMKC because it’s an urban campus without being a “commuter college.” I chose the Bloch School because they strongly encourage and provide students with plenty of internship opportunities. There’s a lot to get involved in here - your campus life experience at UMKC can be anything you want it to be. |
