administer an effective agency-wide salary and wage system that will
fairly and equitably motivate and reward your employees. But what are

join us for a special workshop that is designed to help you learn to do
just this! This special workshop, presented jointly by experts from
three leading Kansas City nonprofit development agencies, will help you
consider and plan how your agency can develop and implement a salary
system that links work, performance, and pay. In this special intensive
half-day workshop, designed specifically for top nonprofit executives
and HR officers, you will learn:

the Kansas City Salary and Benefits Survey in Your Agency

You will leave this
workshop with the essential knowledge and a practical set of analytic
tools that will enable you to develop or refine the salary system that
your agency needs.
This workshop is
presented by a team of highly-experienced nonprofit executives and HR
consultants, each of whom brings their own special expertise to the
subject. The facilitators for this session include:

Larry Lee: Larry is chair
of the Executive Service Corps and founder and lead consultant of Lee,
Burgess and Associates, one of the leading HR consulting firms in the
Kansas City region.
Ø
Mark Shuster: Mark, an
experienced nonprofit executive administrator, is the Chief Financial
Officer of the Jewish Federation of Greater Kansas City and a former board
member of CANBE.
Ø
David Renz: Dave is an
experienced nonprofit and government executive, consultant, and
educator, and is the director of the Midwest Center for Nonprofit
Leadership at UMKC.
