Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What does “sponsorship” mean?

A: At a minimum, your organization must sponsor you in the sense that it provides you the time away from work to participate in the program. The application for admission requires a signature from your sponsor, indicating that they understand the time demands of the program.

Q: Who is my sponsor?

A: Your sponsor may be your direct supervisor, the director of human resources for your organization, or the CEO/COO. It should be the individual with the authority to approve your enrollment in the program and the time away from the office one Friday per month.

Q: Is financial support by my organization required?

A: No. Many Bloch Executive MBA students receive some amount of financial support from their sponsoring organization, but it is not a factor in the admissions process. Other options for funding include scholarships, loans, and federal financial aid. Additional information can be found here.
