“The Leadership Growth Program was most beneficial to me, mainly in terms of enhancing my self awareness of my skills. The 360 Assessment revealed my weaknesses and strengths from the perspective of my peers, my bosses and myself. This created a splendid opportunity for me to grow as a leader using the feedback and coaching I received in the LGP. I established an “action plan” based on these findings. This plan paved the path for me to improve my ability to work with C-level executives and to listen more effectively. I, also, was able to capitalize and understand through the LGP how to use political savvy, which my peers and bosses identified in the 360 as one of my strengths (unrecognized by me). The confidence I gained from understanding I possessed this strength enabled me to lead an effort to initiate changes for the Dept. of Defense. As part of the action plan for C-levels, the LGP suggested I read “The Trusted Advisor” which I refer to continuously."
