Program FormatOnce in a Lifetime Experiential LearningThe Bloch Executive MBA program features an integrated curriculum in which class members proceed through the program as a cohort. This team approach allows for the sharing of different perspectives on diverse subjects, which results in a challenging, stimulating learning environment that provides for maximum return on time and resources invested. To ensure that all students are knowledgeable of the same business basics, online tutorials of preparatory materials are available in key subject areas. The Bloch Executive MBA curriculum is focused around three core elements: leadership, strategic thinking, and innovation. Woven throughout the curriculum is an emphasis on improving communication and self-awareness skills - critical competencies for today's senior leaders. All of these elements create a powerful learning environment. The Bloch Executive MBA is designed to provide you with the broad management skills necessary for success in your industry, as well as advanced, results-oriented coursework designed to develop your expertise. In your first year, you will study elements critical for senior managers: leadership, growth strategies, economics and finance, and strategic management. In your second year, you will select from electives to focus in the disciplines of either finance or entrepreneurship. Live cases, consulting experiences and opportunities to address current issues at work provide real-world applicability. An executive communications coach works with individuals and teams to enhance effective decision-making skills.
