Areas of expertise: Supply chain agility, operational flexibility and responsiveness, supply chain networks and relationships, supply chain communication and information exchange, outsourcing, logistics and supply chain strategy, and supply chain management

Dr. David Gligor is an assistant professor of operations and supply chain management at the University of Missouri-Kansas City Henry W. Bloch School of Management. He has Ph.D. from the University of Tennessee.

Prior to joining Bloch, Gligor taught operations and supply chain courses at the University of Tennessee. He also worked as a logistics coordinator and team leader with several organizations, including Hapag-Lloyd, one of the largest container shipping lines in the world.

Gligor's research has been published in peer-reviewed journals such as the International Journal of Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management: An International Journal, Journal of Supply Chain Management, Journal of Business Logistics, and Journal of Transportation Management.

Gligor teaches at the undergraduate and graduate level.
