Roger Alan Pick has been professor of management information systems at the Henry W. Bloch School of Business at UMKC since 2004. His primary teaching assignment is data management, but he has taught virtually every course topic in information systems since joining the Bloch School in 1993. He earned a Ph.D. from the Krannert Graduate School of Management at Purdue University in 1984. He also earned an M.S. in mathematics from Purdue in 1979 and a B.S. in mathematics from the University of Oklahoma in 1977.
Pick’s research interests are in decision support systems, model management, and information technology economics.
His research on these topics has appeared in Communications of the ACM, Management Science, Journal of MIS, Decision Support Systems, IEEE Transactions, Information and Management, and numerous other outlets.
