Waris received a BA from the University of Missouri-Columbia, an MA and Ph.D. in Psychology from the UMKC, as well as an MBA from the Henry W. Bloch School of Business and Public Administration at UMKC.
Waris currently teaches Introduction to Business, Organizational Behavior, and Management Skills courses at the Bloch School. In addition to teaching, Waris has consulted with many organizations in and around the Kansas City area. Waris has also published in various academic journals and has made numerous presentations at academic and professional conferences around the country.
