Arif Ahmed, BDS, Ph.D., MSPH

Arif Ahmed is associate professor of health administration at the Henry W. Bloch School of Management at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. He is also an adjunct faculty at the UMKC School of Dentistry. Ahmed received his Ph.D. and M.S.P.H. degrees from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a B.D.S. degree from the University of Dhaka.

Leigh Branham, MA

Leigh Branham brings 30 years' experience in business, education, and management consulting to his mission of helping employers implement best practices in employee engagement and retention. He is the author of Keeping the People Who Keep You in Business: 24 Ways to Hang On to Your Most Valuable Talent (AMACOM, 2001), which consistently ranks on Amazon.com as one of the best-selling books on employee retention. Leigh holds Master's degrees in Counseling/ Personnel Services and Journalism from the University of Missouri.

Eugene E. Fibuch, MD, CPE, CHCQM, FAIHQ

Eugene Fibuch, M.D., CPE is Professor Emeritus and Former Chairman, Department of Anesthesiology, UMKC School of Medicine. He graduated from Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha Nebraska and completed his residency and fellowship training in Anesthesiology and pulmonary physiology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester Minnesota.

Doranne Hudson, MBA

Doranne Hudson is an executive-in-residence and associate teaching professor at Henry W. Bloch School of Management at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She teaches undergraduate, MBA, and Executive MBA courses in leadership as well as executive education courses to a wide variety of organizations, including Sprint, H&R Block, The Nelson-Atkins Museum, The Federal Reserve, Garmin, Children's Mercy Hospital, and Blue Cross and Blue Shield.

Robert Lee, Ph.D.

Dr. Lee teaches Health Care Economics, Strategic Management of Health Services, Quality Management, and Cost-Effectiveness and Medical Decision Analysis. His current research is in the areas of long-term care and hospital quality. Recent publications appear in the American Journal of Medical Quality and the Journal of Gerontological Nursing.

Marty Martin, M.S.,Psy.D., M.P.H., M.A.

Dr. Marty Martin Director and Associate Professor of the Health Sector MBA program in the College of Commerce at DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois as well as an adjunct faculty member at Rush University in Chicago. Dr. Martin also serves as a financial planner with Aequus Wealth Management serving physicians, individuals and entrepreneurs in transition. Marty earned his doctorate in clinical psychology from Rutgers University as well as a MPH degree focusing on health management and health promotion.

Brent Never, Ph.D.

Brent Never is an assistant professor of nonprofit leadership at the Henry W. Bloch School of Management. Never received his Ph.D. in public policy from the School of Public and Environmental Affairs at Indiana University- Bloomington. His current research focuses on the impact of the current economic recession on the capacity of nonprofits to continue providing necessary services to those most in need.

Dylan Roby

Dylan H. Roby, PhD, is the director of the Health Economics and Evaluation Research Program at the UCLA Center for Health Policy Research. He is also an assistant professor in the Department of Health Policy and Management in the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health. Roby is currently working on a study predicting the impact of health reform on California's population with the UC Berkeley Center for Labor Research and Education.

Wayne Vaught, Ph.D.

Wayne Vaught, PhD is Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences and Professor of Philosophy, Medicine and Bioethics at UMKC. As Dean, he provides academic leadership to UMKC's largest academic unit. Prior to his appointment as Dean, Dr. Vaught was Associate Dean for Undergraduate Programs (2009-2011); Associate Professor of Philosophy and Medicine (2004-2011); Director of the Center for Applied and Professional Ethics (2004-2011); and Chair of the Department of Philosophy (2005-2009).
