Career ServicesThe Bloch Career LauncherThe Bloch School's Career Launcher is automatically made available to every full time or part time student in the Bloch School. At this site you will be able to get information related to Bloch students' career planning and job search needs. This includes the Bloch School's ROADMAP for career planning, seminars, networking events, job postings, internships, helpful job search web links, and more. You can find the Bloch Career Launcher in Blackboard, located under the 'My Organizations' tab on your homepage. UMKC Career ServicesUMKC’s Career Services Center provides resources for both job seekers and employers. Students can find such resources as career fair information, internships, resume building, and other vital information. They also offer CareerExec, an employment database that offers nationwide job listings. This service is free to both job seekers and employers. The Career Services Center has a satellite office located in the Bloch School, Room 16. This office can be reached at 816-235-5845; please call for their current office hours. A variety of services is also available to UMKC alumni. They can assist with resume critiques, career assessments, individual career counseling, and practice interviews (a slight fee may apply, depending upon which service is chosen).
