The Bloch School part-time MBA was ranked in the top tier of part-time MBA programs in the nation by U.S. News & World Report in 2011.

The Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation was ranked among the top 26 model programs in the nation by entrepreneuredu.com in 2010.

The Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the University of Missouri-Kansas City’s Bloch School of Business and Public Administration is ranked by the Princeton Review among the top 25 graduate entrepreneurship programs nationally, putting UMKC and the Bloch school in the top tier of entrepreneurial colleges and business schools in the country in 2009. Bloch has once again been named one of the best colleges and universities in the Midwest according to The Princeton Review’s "Best in the Midwest" section of 2010 Best Colleges: Region by Region. The 158 colleges The Princeton Review chose for this year’s "Best in the Midwest" designations are located in twelve states: Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Missouri, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.

The Master of Public Affairs nonprofit management focus was ranked among the top 25 in the nation by U.S. News and World Report.

Peace Corps Program at Bloch Recognized Nationally for Community Service
Four Peace Corps university partner schools, including the Bloch School at UMKC, have been recognized for outstanding dedication to national and community service in the United States. The President's Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll, overseen by the Corporation for National and Community Service, highlighted the specific achievements of six institutions that have shown special dedication to service. Of these top six, four partner with the Fellows/USA program or are Master's International (MI) program partners, including The UMKC Bloch School and Duke University (Fellows/USA programs), and Emory University and Michigan State University (MI programs).

The Bloch School was named among the “Best in the Midwest” in the Princeton Review’s 2009 Best Colleges: Region by Region.

The PhD program in entrepreneurship and Innovation at Bloch makes UMKC one of only 12 universities worldwide (eight in the U.S.) with a formal doctoral program in entrepreneurship. The program hosted its inaugural class in Spring '08 with a second class starting in Fall '08.

A gift from the White Family Foundation established the Lewis White Real Estate Center at Bloch in 2007. LWREC is the only comprehensive center for formal real estate education in the region.

The  Financial Times has ranked the Bloch Executive MBA among the top  programs in the world, giving Bloch EMBA the top spot (No.1) for career impact among U.S. public universities.

The Bloch School has once again been included in the Princeton Review's Top 290 Business Schools for 2008. Bloch was also included in last year's publication (Top 280 Business Schools).

Michael Song, PhD, executive director for the Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Bloch has once again been ranked among the nation’s leading scholars by in-cities, an editorial arm of the Essential Science Indicators, which has placed Song in the top 100 Most-Cited Scientists in Economics and Business. Michael Song, PhD, and Mark Parry, PhD, Bloch entrepreneurship faculty at the Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, were ranked No. 1 and No. 13 (respectively) in the world for innovation management in a study published in the Journal of Product and Innovation Management (2007, Vol. 24, No. 3).

The Bloch Executive MBA program enjoys continued success, growing from 20 to 30 students two years ago, with this year's class being close to 40 (Bloch will cap enrollment in the new class at 40 and start a waiting list for next year).

The success of the Bloch School Study Abroad program is growing – nearly seven percent of our undergraduate and graduate business students do some kind of study abroad experience while they're here.

Bloch School part-time MBA to be ranked in top 92, 2007 Business Week rankings, marking our first time in the top 100.

Bloch School MBAs won the case study competition in the Cerner Consulting Solution Skills Course in 2006.

The Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation received an honorable mention award from the Southtown Council for Major Public Improvement, 2006.

The Bloch School received a 2006 CASE (Council for Advancement and Support of Education) Silver Award for Excellence in Advertising for the BizEd Series “The Bloch School Knows:  Innovation is Essential.”

The Midwest Center for Nonprofit Leadership received 2005 Pride and Excellence Community Award from Kansas-Missouri Project Equality.

The Bloch entrepreneurship program ranked in the top 10 for entrepreneurial emphasis in 2005 by Entrepreneur magazine.
